Welcome to the new Virtual Office at Marketing LIVE! A FREE service to our customers!

To get started, log into your virtual office at:
http://www.mktlive.com:3000/
Your username is: {Username}.
Your password is: {Password}.
Your Virtual Office Email address is: {Username}@mktlive.com.

How does it work?
After you logon, you will immediately notice a familiar screen - very similar to Microsoft Outlook. This user-friendly screen has the same options you might use in Microsoft Outlook on the left. You may send emails, update your calendar, contact list, to do list, and notes.

Send and Receive and eFax!
Marketing Live eFax is all done completely through your Virtual Office. You will need to be logged into your Virtual Office to Send & Receive eFaxes.

To SEND an eFax
Click on NEW -> FAX (at the top). Type in the fax number (always include 1+area code) and any other details you wish. A Marketing Live cover page is always used and automatically generated. You will automatically receive an email confirmation of success or failure in your Virtual Office account.

To RECEIVE an eFax
The incoming Toll-Free eFax number is (866) 384-9064.

You will need to make sure the sender includes your Virtual Office email account as the TO: at the top of their fax and/or cover letter. The eFax will then be routed into your Virtual Office account Inbox.

It is highly recommended the email address is typed (or at least extremely legible). The Virtual Office OCR (Optical Character Recognition) System may have a difficult time scanning and reading handwritten email addresses.

If the eFax OCR System cannot determine the email address, or if the email address is not a Virtual Office account, then it will go into a general purpose eFax storage area that can only be retrieved by your Sales Rep.

Sync Your Contacts!
You can even synchronize your Outlook/Outlook Express contacts and your Virtual Office account with our FREE ComAgent software! Simply click on OPTIONS -> COMAGENT and download ComAgent to your computer. Then install the ComAgent software you just downloaded and you are ready to sync! (WARNING! Make sure you have a backup before you try to sync, especially if you are new to syncing type programs. A simple mistake can erase your contact list if you are not careful).

To perform a sync between your Outlook contact list and the Virtual Office contact list, right-click on the ComAgent icon that is running in the bottom right on your screen and select Properties. Then select the Synchronization tab. Choose either Microsoft Express or Microsoft Outlook as your data provider. Uncheck the public contacts box, as that does not apply to Virtual Office at this time. But DO check the private contacts box and choose your Outlook contact folder. (Again, make sure you have a backup before doing this - just in case you make a mistake!) Click on SYNCHRONIZE NOW. It should take a few seconds and you are done!
Detailed instructions follow.

Welcome To Virtual Office!

Introduction

Virtual Office is a web-based email solution designed to offer you full email functionality through the use of your favorite web browser. All of your email folders reside on the server so that you have access to everything as if you were at the office, home or anywhere else you would normally check your email. In fact, because of Virtual Office’s extensive feature set, you can use it as your only email client instead of in addition to others. Virtual Office can easily hold its own against traditional email clients while providing the added bonus of enabling you to access your email from anywhere at anytime.

Virtual Office is designed specifically for use with Internet Explorer 5.5 and 6 or higher or Mozilla Firefox 1.0 or higher. Virtual Office uses frames, and is probably best for use on higher bandwidth connections.  Due to its familiar interface, many people will feel comfortable using it.  Firefox users should see the list of known issues that are due to bugs within Firefox.

Navigation

Virtual Office is navigated via the top of the page using the menus and buttons.  For more information on navigation see Navigation.

Message Listing

It is recommended that users view the information on the message listing help page to gather instructions on how to effectively navigate the message listing.

Message View

The message view allows you to view a message (which can be selected from the message listing page) and reply, forward, delete the message, and other useful actions that you may want to perform with a message.  You can get more information on the message view in the message view section of this help file.

Compose

Composing messages in Virtual Office is easy.  In certain cases, you may even be able to compose faxes and send them through Virtual Office. See the Compose page for more information.

Calendar

The Calendar pages include a Month View, Week View, and a Day view (available on the main page).  You can create Appointments and meetings.  More details on this great Virtual Office feature can be obtained in the Calendar section of the help files.

Contacts

Virtual Office's suite of features includes an address book allowing you to keep track of many details including work and home addresses and phone numbers.  For more information on the address book see Contacts.

Tasks

Virtual Office Tasks allow you to keep track of tasks and projects that you have upcoming, have completed and things you may be waiting on others for.  For more details see the Tasks section

Options

Virtual Office is full of features, and many of these features have potential settings or give you options as to how messages are displayed, whether you want to compose messages in a new window, or a myriad of other settings that you may want to use.  There are actually up to eight settings pages for different Options categories Preferences, Compose, Calendar, Mailboxes, Folders, and Filters.

Virtual Office requires Internet Explorer 5.5 (6 or higher is recommended) or Mozilla Firefox 1.0 (version 1.5 or higher is recommended).  We recommend keeping your browser up to date with the latest updates and upgrading when newer version become available.  Because Firefox is available on multiple platforms you can access Virtual Office on Microsoft Windows, Apple OS X, and various Linux platforms that support Firefox.

Note: Version 4 browsers such as Netscape 4 and Internet Explorer 4 are not supported.  Updates for those browsers are available from their respective authors.

Thank you.
